Resend Email Verification
If for some reason you have lost the email verification mail, you can request
a new email. Simply enter your user name, or the email you entered for your account
and press 'Resend'. When you have recieved this email, follow the instructions
in the email.
Forgotten Username
Did you know that you can also log in with the verfied email address you
used when signing up? By signing in with your email you will see your user name.
We can also email you your user name - it requires a verfied email. When requesting
the user name to be sent and your email has not been verified, we will first send an
email verification mail. Then you can use your email to log in.
Forgotten Password
If you have forgotten your password, we can create a new password
and send that to your verified email account. If you have not verified
your email account, we will first send a verification email with instructions
how this is done.
Once your email address is verified, you can request an email with
instructions how to reset your password. The email will contain a link
that when activated will send you an email with a new generated password.
The additional step is for your benefit - without it, anyone with knowledge
about your email address could reset your password directly - they would
never get hold of the actual password, but it would still be
annoying to you.
With the additional step, if someone tries to reset your password,
you will just receive an email with a link to reset your password which you
can safly ignore. (Or report the issue to
security@cloudsmith.com)
