Firefox 3.0 with essential Add-Ons

This distro allows you to retrieve Firefox 3 (http://www.mozilla.com) and some add-ons I consider essential in one go. The add-ons are:

Firebug: an essential web development tool that allows you to debug and live edit your web pages. Its by Joe Hewitt, Firebug Working Group (more info at http://getfirebug.com).

Chatzilla: a very intuitive IRC client for Firefox. Its by Gijs Kruitbosch, Robert Ginda, Samuel Sieb, James Ross (more info at http://chatzilla.hacksrus.com/).

Download the distro to a location of your choice (or the specified default). When download is complete start the Firefox installer.

Then open the installed browser and in turn open the downloaded extensions (XPI files). This will trigger the add-on installer in Firefox. Follow the instructions.

Its one of the distros I am using frequently when setting up a new machine or moving to new machines at other sites. Feel free to use it as well or extend it if you consider it useful. Check out the included Cloudfeeds that will notify you of extensions and new versions of this distro.
